Port of Liverpool - Seaforth Terminal

More than 80,000 TEUs are carried each year on both eastbound and westbound sailings between Coastal's Seaforth Terminal at the Port of Liverpool and Belfast and Dublin.

Rapid onward transit for Irish trade with Britain and the rest of Continental Europe is accommodated by the Terminal's easy access to Britain’s national motorway network and by the Port of Liverpool Euro Rail Terminal, adjacent to Coastal's S6 Berth.

  • 15 acre site with 290m quay
  • 3 gantry cranes with capacity up to 30 tonnes
  • 2 transtainer stacking/feeding cranes
  • Throughput capacity – 100,000 containers per annum

Operational hours

  • 0700 hrs to 2000 hrs week days. Saturday 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs. Out of hours operation available by special arrangement.
  • Full access to Coastal operated rail terminal
  • Full access to global services operating out of Liverpool's adjacent deep sea container berths
  • Fast, secure Customs clearance through Liverpool port community's MCP clearance system
